Delivery & Returns
Customers are able to use credit and debit cards on the Paypal platform that we subscribe to, this is a secure method of payment.
Or we will accept BACS payments .We will accept credit cards that are registered at the delivery address only.
Elizabeth and Stevens will provide a Tracking number on request. This can be used to Track Parcels via the Courier Service used. We always try and send on a 24 hour basis, however, at busy times, such as Christmas ,delivery times may change. We will endeavour to keep customers aware of any changes if that is possible.
If you wish to send a courier to collect, that is no problem, however please ensure we have the labels for your packages and that the instructions are clear and understood by all parties involved.We strongly advise you insure your purchase if you use this method.
It is Overseas Purchasers Responsibility alone to ensure that they understand their own countries Customs Procedures prior to placing an order in regard to local taxes & declarations. All EU countries are charged VAT at the current UK rate for retail customers.
Pallets are sent by Third Party Agencies and the Drivers will Offload to Driveway only by Pallet Truck onto a hard surface.
If Access for tail lift lorries is required, it is the purchasers responsibility to check there is sufficient clearance for these deliveries.
Please note; if Pallets are not taken in or refused when agreed there will be a Redelivery fee due or a Restocking Fee if the item palletised is Refused or if phone contact goes unanswered and the driver cannot access for any reason.
Direct communication between the purchaser and the Courier company is advised in regard to re -delivery if there are any un foreseen delays at the purchasers delivery address. we will provide all details to our customers about the delivery company if requested.Goods must be checked prior to Pallet being signed for.
These services are usually 2-3 days unless a fee is paid as extra for next day pallet delivery.
Elizabeth and Stevens are not liable for any delay after the Goods have been posted or have left our premises via Courier/haulier this includes amongst others not mentioned herein; Fire, Theft, Strike, Malicious Damage, Riot, Flood, Sickness, Traffic Delay, Vehicle Issues and Breakdown, Administrative Errors or loss on behalf of courier, or malpractice on behalf of deliverer or otherwise.
Returns are accepted provided we are contacted in Writing (strictly that an acknowledgement has been received by the Purchaser by return from E&S either by Post, E mail or Phone) no longer than 5 working days after the day the product is received and provided that you have taken care of the product and that the product has not been used.Items must be returned in all the original packaging and packaged with care with clear instructions in the box .
Returns are not accepted from companies who are hiring out items purchased from us-unless agreed in writing .
A Restocking fee is required for returns of Palletised goods and parcels over 16kg and Elizabeth and Stevens will contact either by Phone post or E mail as to the amount.
Please note; the right to return does not apply to Products that are Bespoke, Made to Measure, Perishable, Flowers or Food.
