Orders and Delivery
Elizabeth and Stevens do not have a minimum order value for delivery, due to the nature of our products size and weight are important issues in calculating delivery charges. Location and distance are also factors.

Carriage rates can be calculated once orders are placed.
Good access is required to make delivery, and a fork lift maybe required depending on what is ordered. We do not supply a forklift.

Unfortunately it is not always possible to state an exact delivery TIME due to multi drop loads or other factors. However, nominally we can state either morning or afternoon. If the customer is closed on certain days of the week this must be stipulated before delivery. Otherwise this can lead to delays.

Payment terms
We do not offer credit terms or accounts (unless agreed in writing with Elizabeth and Stevens Limited) payment for goods must be paid for on collection, by cleared cheque or on delivery by cash. New clients will be asked to pay pro forma prior to delivery.

If payment is not available on delivery for any reason goods will not be off loaded and a charge equal to delivery costs will be levied toward the cost and inconvenience.

If site access for installation is cancelled for any reason (unless notified 3 working days prior by acknowledged e mail or letter) we reserve the right to charge for labour and delivery.

Damages
ALL damages must be informed in writing by letter or acknowledged e mail within 7 days of delivery.
Full details including Product Code ,description and Invoice number should be stated.
We cannot accept faulty goods unless this procedure is complied to- no exceptions.

Export Terms
Elizabeth and Stevens will pack orders at an additional cost. All other packing and transport is at the purchasers responsibility.
Special Requests for export Packing will incur the following charges unless agreed otherwise

10% on orders up to £10,000 - 7.5% on orders of £5,000 and above - 5% on orders of 10,000 and above

Responsibility for any damage in transit are down to the designated shipper and insurance is advised.
Payment for export orders and packaging are payable before delivery to your designated shipper.
